Teacher Professional Development day held in April where teachers learn about robotics, coding, green screen and stop motion videos, Promethean boards, iPads, AI, 3D printing, etc.

The goal of this partnership, the lessons, and the culminating challenge is to expose students to STEM and engage them in real world experiences, and high demand STEM Careers.

Sponsored by Boeing, year-long missions require 5th - 6th grade students to solve problems to achieve homeostasis on Mars using coding, circuits, robotics, and engineering design.

It is our hope that this program will create interest in STEM careers for elementary school-aged girls in 5th and 6th grade and grow our Destination Moon program.
