Mrs. Sarah Barnett

Principal

I have been the Proud Principal of Meadowlane Intermediate since January 2020.  I have been a part of the Meadowlane community since 2004 and am honored to serve the students and families that live here.  I love that the parents and staff have a shared commitment to ensuring that all students receive the highest quality education in a nurturing learning environment.

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a bit about myself.  I earned both a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Florida.  Additionally, I earned a second Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida.  I am proud to have the support of my wonderful family: my husband, Robert, my daughter, Allie, who is a BPS student, and my spunky Havanoodle puppy, Barley.  I am a HUGE Gator fan and I love to read outside in the sun!

There is so much to be proud of at Meadowlane Intermediate and I am truly honored to serve the community and support the growth of our students.  Every Student, Every Day!

Assistant Principal - Title IX contact

It has been my pleasure to serve as Meadowlane Intermediate’s Assistant Principal since 2018. In 2014 I became a mustang as a third-grade teacher. I’m truly blessed to work alongside some of the most incredible educators, families, students, and staff!

I attended UCF where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. Additionally, I obtained my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education. I am grateful for the support and encouragement from my family: my husband, Rich, my son, Cooper, and my daughter, Reilly. Both kiddos are BPS graduates. My husband and son are proudly employed with Brevard County Fire Rescue and Reilly is pursuing a nursing degree from the University of South Florida. Attending concerts and traveling nourish my soul.

I see my role as vital in creating a positive and effective learning environment, supporting both students and staff members in achieving academic and personal success.

Every Student, Every Day!

Mrs. Carol Coudle

Guidance, 3rd and 6th Grade

I am Carol Coudle, I am thrilled to be back at Meadowlane Intermediate for my third year.  I came from Columbus, Ohio, where I spent 35 years in education.  My husband and I moved to Florida to get away from the snow.  My husband coaches youth soccer in the community.

I have the honor of working with fifth and sixth graders this year. I would like to get to know the families better, so please reach out to me if you need assistance. If I am unable to help, I will point you in the right direction. In addition to serving as the counselor, I am also the 504 coordinator for our building, and a newly qualified Youth Mental Health First Aid trainer.

My contact information is (321) 722-5539 ext. 53423 or email me

I look forward to working with you and your child to have the best school year ever!
