Assistant Principal

I take great pride in introducing myself as your new Assistant Principal. My name is Teramarie Scott, and this is my 17th year working as an educator for Brevard Public Schools. Throughout those years, I have worn many hats. I spent 12 years in the classroom teaching 4th grade. During those years, I felt like I had reached my potential serving my students instructionally and wanted to do more to reach all students. I then served as a Literacy Coach for 3 years and enjoyed working to build the capacity of our teachers and watching our students reap the benefits of excellent quality instruction. I spent the next year serving as Title 1 Coordinator and enjoyed learning how to manage budgets and evaluating programs and processes to ensure our students had the best supports in place to meet success.  Throughout those years, I have earned a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction and earned my second Master’s in Educational Leadership. I am a proud wife to an amazing Firefighter Dad, Jonathan Scott, and a proud mother to three beautiful little boys. My oldest son, Noah, will be going into 5th grade and my 8-year-old son, Jonah, will be going into 3rd grade. Noah and Jonah are amazing big brothers to our youngest, baby Lucah. I am very excited to continue my journey and commitment to serve our students with the best instructionally and ensuring our school babies have the absolute best schooling experiences, with lasting memories that will last a lifetime. I am truly honored and blessed to be serving as your new Assistant Principal and I know, together, we WILL achieve greatness! Let’s Go Pelicans!!!
