ELO (Education Location Option)
This is the option to attend a school other than the zoned school based on residence. This process is lottery based and has an ongoing waitlist process for options during the school year. There is no fee for this.
Requirements for Submitting an Application to a Non-Zoned School:
Must be a current Florida Resident and upload 2 proofs of residency from Tier 1 and Tier 2 to Focus before submitting an application.
A behavior/academic/attendance parent and student contract is required upon entry. This will be completed by the parent during the application process in a series of "Agree" questions through Focus.
For 2025-2026 Applications-Parents will apply through FOCUS.
The window to apply for Elementary Schools will open on April 4, 2025 at 8 a.m. and run through May 2, 2025 at 5 p.m.
