The School Board approved one attendance boundary change at the Regular Board Meeting and Public Hearing regarding this attendance boundary change on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. The Board Agenda Item can be viewed HERE.

At the October 22, 2024 School Board meeting, the Board reviewed one potential attendance boundary change as an information item.

Eau Gallie High School to Viera High School

The intent of the proposal is to amend the school attendance boundary to include all of the future developing neighborhood located within the southern portion of the Viera development area into the same school.

Currently, no homes are under construction in the affected area. No students are affected by the proposed change.

On November 19, 2024, the School Board voted to approve advertising the Public Hearing/Action for final approval, which will be held in January 2025 following the advertising of the public hearing.

The School Board will hold its Regular Board Meeting and Public Hearing regarding this attendance boundary change on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the Educational Services Facility, 2700 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera, Florida 32940. The public is invited to attend.
