Message from the Superintendent

Dear Brevard Public Schools Community,

As we embark on a bold new chapter with our 2025-2030 Strategic Plan, we are setting a clear course toward empowering every student to achieve their full potential. This five-year plan represents a collective commitment to Academic Excellence, Exceptional Workforce, Community Connection, and Operational Efficiency. Our approach is grounded in the belief that by working together—educators, staff, families, and community partners—we can create a future where every student is prepared to succeed, whether in college, career, or life.

The four key benchmarks of our plan—3rd Grade Literacy, Algebra I Success, College and Career Acceleration, and Graduation Rate—will serve as the foundation of our efforts. These benchmarks are not just numbers; they are our guiding measures of success, reflecting our dedication to supporting all students across all grade levels, ensuring they receive the best possible education and opportunities for growth.

We recognize that achieving these ambitious goals requires collaboration across every level of our district. Whether it is strengthening early literacy skills, enhancing middle and high school acceleration opportunities, or fostering an exceptional workforce, we are focused on continuous improvement in all aspects of our educational ecosystem. Additionally, we are committed to making operational decisions that directly contribute to student success—whether through improved classroom environments, advanced technology, or the safe transportation of our students.

As we move forward, we will keep the focus on our students and their future, ensuring that each goal and strategy in this plan is designed to create lasting impact and positive change. Together, we will build a stronger, more resilient district—one where every student has the opportunity to thrive.
