Principal

My name is Nicole Gaumond. This is my third year as principal of Dr. W.J. Creel Elementary. This is my 16th year as an educator. I have taught kindergarten, second, third, and fourth grades. I earned my Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education from The University of Montevallo in 2003. I also hold a Master's in Educational Leadership from The American College of Education. I have been married to my wonderfully supportive husband, Kyle. We are blessed to have two beautiful children. My daughter Presley is nine and loves all things related to dance. Our son Grayson is five and loves anything related to being outside and sports. My family and I enjoy spending time at the beach and traveling together. As the principal of Dr. W.J. Creel I hope to serve every child with excellence as the standard. It is my goal to continue to ensure our students are learning in a safe and supportive academic environment at all times. I am always here to help any student or family of Dr. W.J. Creel. I look forward to another amazing year at Dr. W.J. Creel Elementary where TOGETHER WE WILL ACHIEVE GREATNESS!
