FNS takes great pride in offering our students a wide variety of nutritionally balanced meals. Currently FNS operates eight (8) food programs and serves over I 0.1 million meals annually. Learning to eat right is as important to lifelong success as reading, writing, and math. However, the costs of food, labor and supplies have increased substantially over the past 4 years. On May 14, 2024, the School Board approved a 2-year meal price increase plan. Under this plan, meal prices will increase as follows:
Elementary Lunch:
Increase lunch price by $0.40 from $2.10 to $2.50 in FY25;
Increase lunch price by $0.30 from $2.50 to $2.80 in FY26
Secondary Lunch:
Increase lunch price by $0.50 from ·$2.50 to $3.00 in FY25;
Increase lunch price by $0.30 from $3.00 to $3.30 in FY26
Adult Lunch:
Increase lunch price by $0.50 from $3.10 to $3.60 in FY25;
Increase lunch price by $0.30 from $3.60 to $3.90 in FY26
Adult Breakfast:
Increase breakfast price by $0.40 from $1.60 to $2.00 in FY25;
Increase breakfast price by $0.30 from $2.00 to $2.30 in FY26
