Dr. Richardson is absolutely thrilled to be leading the Challenger family! He has an extensive and diverse background. As he enters his 18th year in education, he brings an innovative way of thinking, having previously served in Orange, Duval, and St. Johns Counties. He has a passion for children and believes in always acting in the best interest of students. He leads by example, and his favorite quote is “children will always live exactly what they learn”. Dr. Richardson plans on continuing the tradition of excellence at McNair and plans on moving the school grade back to an A… where it belongs!

Mrs. Genesis Rowe

Email Mrs. Genesis RoweAfter working eight years in the accounting & finance world in New York, Genesis Rowe moved to Georgia, made a career change and began her teaching career as a second-grade teacher at Burdell-Hunt Magnet School in Macon, Georgia in 2008. At Burdell-Hunt, Mrs. Rowe was named the 2009-2010 Teacher of the Year. In 2013 she moved to Houston County, where she taught first and second grade gifted class at C.B. Watson Primary. After only two years at C.B. Watson, Mrs. Rowe was named Teacher of the Year for a second time in her teaching career. After the passing of her beloved grandmother in 2015, Mrs. Rowe and her family decided to move to Orlando, FL where she taught second and third grade at Waterford Elementary for three years. At Waterford, she was given the OCPS Teacher Hero Award. In 2018, she transferred to Timber Lakes Elementary where she became a departmentalized math & science teacher for third and fourth grade students.

Mrs. Rowe holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from Rider University, a Master of Education in Early Childhood from Wesleyan College, a gifted endorsement from GA RESA, and a Master of Administration from Concordia University.

Although Mrs. Rowe is a native New Yorker, she resides in Orlando and feels that Florida is her real home. When not at school, she enjoys spending time with her husband of 12 years, Carlton, and their 2 precious sons, David and Daniel. Mrs. Rowe loves working with children and in her spare time she enjoys running, traveling, praying, and spending time with friends and family.
