Mrs. Haggard has been teaching elementary music in Brevard County since 2007. A proponent of growth mindset, Mrs. Haggard has embraced Maya Angelou's quote: "Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better."

In Music Class, Ms. Foote and Mrs. Haggard use many toys and instruments the students enjoy to warm up our singing voices, explore creative solo singing, as well as make music. We have compiled a list of some of ours and the students favorites that would make great gift ideas for any upcoming special events, birthdays, or holidays and help them continue making music at home. We love the silly puppets brand of puppets because the mouths move and they have many diverse puppets of different ethnicities and nationalities. We use them in Kindergarten through third grade currently to encourage creative singing and improvisation.
