Greetings, Panther Families! My name is Kassie Erenstoft, and I have the true privilege of serving as the principal here at Surfside Elementary School. This is my 20th year as an educator. During my tenure, I have worked as a classroom teacher in both primary and intermediate grade levels, been a district resource teacher, and an assistant principal. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Florida and my Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida. Currently, I am working hard on my Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Florida. I have been married for 18 years and have two amazing children, Chase and Carter. When I am not working, I enjoy spending my time watching my boys play football and basketball, reading, and being outdoors. As the principal of Surfside Elementary, I have a passion to see EVERY child succeed. It is my goal to provide the most optimal learning environment possible, including a safe and nurturing campus. I look forward to the relationships I will build with students, families, and staff. This journey is one that I am honored to be on and excited to take with you. Go Panthers!
