Mrs. Price first entered Brevard Public Schools as a kindergarten student at Sherwood Elementary, then attended Johnson Jr High and graduated from Eau Gallie High School.
She continued on to Stetson University where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Social Studies Education and later earned her master's degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
She has been an educator in Brevard Public Schools since August 1996 teaching at Johnson Middle School, Eau Gallie High School and working in the district office.
She opened BVS in Spring 2009 and has helped lead the growth from just 22 full-time students to over 230 full-time students, over 130 Home School Eagles and over 5000 part-time students.
Mrs. Price is married and loves spending time with her husband, her fur babies and traveling with friends and family.
She is so proud to be the first principal of Brevard Virtual and loves getting to know all the students and families at BVS. She looks forward to another great year!

Mrs. Clarissa Kirk, Assistant Principal
Mrs. Kirk graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in arts and humanities with an emphasis on education. Fifteen years later, she completed her master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education (ACE).
Mrs. Kirk (aka. Coach Kirk) started teaching in Brevard in 2007 as the K-8 physical education teacher at Sculptor Charter School. In 2015, she began teaching for Brevard Virtual School and loved learning the virtual way while also helping students learn how to live a healthy life as a HOPE and physical education teacher. She was also a personal trainer in the north area of Brevard County for 8 years before becoming the Brevard Virtual Assistant Principal in 2022.
She played a valuable role as a student success coach for many years with Brevard Virtual and enjoys motivating students to stay the course and finish strong when times get tough. She is very proud of Brevard Virtual School's positive impact on over 5,000 students district-wide.
Mrs. Kirk is married with three children and one grandchild. She loves spending time with her ever-growing family and friends, traveling, and exercising.
She takes pride in representing Brevard Virtual as the Assistant Principal and having the opportunity to support and work with many students, families, district colleagues, and the BVS team! Let’s do this!
Mrs. Dixon is a product of Brevard County Schools who started Kindergarten at Stevenson and then Tropical Elementary, attended Jefferson Junior High School, and graduated from Merritt Island High School.
She continued her studies graduating with her AA degree at Brevard Community College, Bachelor of Science in Biology Education, and her master’s degree in educational leadership from University of Central Florida.
She started teaching at Clearlake Middle School in 1992 and since has taught at Jefferson Middle School, Space Coast Jr/Sr Hight, Cocoa High School, and Delaura Middle School.
She is married to Cal and together they have 5 children who are also all products of Brevard County Schools.
She loves spending time with her family, her very spoiled Chihuahua, and traveling.
Mrs. Dixon enters her journey at Brevard Virtual as a Teacher on Assignment and is looking forward to the opportunity to work with teachers and families all over Brevard County. Here’s to your success!
