Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School is located in Cocoa Beach in Brevard County, Florida. It is one of 80+ schools that form the Brevard County Public School District. Brevard County is on the east central coast of Florida and spans 72 miles along the Atlantic Ocean. Cocoa Beach encompasses several miles of the central Brevard coast, and is widely recognized for its scenic and peaceful beaches. 

The western boundary of the county provides excellent fishing, boating, and camping in a rural setting. The northern seashore contains a national wildlife refuge, and the central shore houses Port Canaveral, which is rapidly becoming an international port-of-call.  

Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School is committed to providing a flexible, integrated learning environment stressing critical thinking skills, community involvement, creative educational methods, and active learning experiences on the part of students. The school’s goal is to involve students directly in the learning and democratic process, help them gain a sense of civic responsibility and positive self-esteem, and empower them to meet the challenges of an ever-changing global and technical society.  

The faculty and staff of Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School believe it is the responsibility of the school to create an atmosphere in which every student can increase their worth as an individual as well as their worth to society.  We also strive to create an engaging learning environment that will provide an opportunity for participation in both curricular and extra-curricular activities.
