Hello There! Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Mrs. Bergman, and I am the Visual Arts Teacher here at Manatee Elementary School! I am so excited to be here to share my love and talent for art with all the students at Manatee Elementary and create a happy, positive creative classroom for them to explore the world of color, crayons and paint!

I have loved doing Art all of my life

I was lucky enough to have parents who saw my 3 year old attempts at murals on the kitchen and dining room walls as a need for more paper and art supplies in the house. Since then, I was was always doing art at home, in school, at art summer camps and anywhere else that would give me a crayon, paint, or pencil. So it was no surprise to my family when I attended college for my degree in Studio Art and then when on to earn my Masters in Art Education as well to help teach a new generation of artists.

I believe art can help out somewhere in anyone's life, no matter the skill or ability level. Every child is born an artist with an infinite amount of creativity, and art is a way to learn how to harness that creativity and figure out how you can best use it in life.
