Parents are teachers’ most valuable teammate when working on the success of students in school.  These Parent Guides are a great resource for parents to help families to work with their child’s teacher.  In these grade specific guides, parents will learn about the state standards (B.E.S.T. Standards) and why they matter for their child and tips for talking with their child’s teacher about what he/she will be learning.  Additionally, there are links to activities and resources to reinforce learning at home.  These parent guides also help parents to understand important educational/academic words in the grade level standards.
