The mission of The Great Southwest Media Center is to serve every student with excellence through developing the habits of critical thinking, active learning, skillful researching, and creative problem solving. Our Media Center also strives to provide materials that will instill a love of reading and learning into the lives of our students.
Our daily hours are 9 am to 4:15 pm. Students are welcome to come before school, with their class, or on a pass from class. We have a variety of incredible things your student can be involved with including our School-Wide 20 Book Challenge, makerspace activities, board games before school, computers for working on assignments, 2 Book Fairs each year filled with fun, and all kinds of other awesome activities.
