This process includes establishing the connection with the classroom teacher for academics/grades.
Information regarding academic standards and opportunities, graduation requirements, DE and AP course offerings, applicable CTE programs, etc. for Brevard Public schools can be found in the Student Progression Plan on the BPS Curriculum and Instruction website.

Brevard Public Schools Elementary Curriculum
This program is available 24/7 for U.S. Military and their families at no cost and it is online tutoring and it offers homework help. The tutors can assist you with working through difficult homework problems, assist you with improving your writing skills, and with other skills.

Family bonding experiences are made possible by shared story time through a program called United Through Reading. This program connects military families who are separated for deployment or military assignment.
Resources and Educational Opportunities for Military Children
Atlantis offers multiple after school opportunities to include: After-School Program (ASP) for academic tutoring, KIND Club (grades 4-6), Brevard After School (BAS) program, and multiple music clubs (strings, chorus, etc.)

Military Kids Connect
MilitaryKidsConnect (MKC) is an online community of military children (ages 6-17 yr old) that provides access to age-appropriate resources to support children from pre-deployment, through a parent's or caregiver's return.
Sesame Street for Military Families
Sesame Street for Military Families is a free, bilingual (English and Spanish) website where families can find information and multimedia resources on the topics of military deployments, multiple deployments, homecomings, injuries, grief, and self-expression.
Step Up for Students - Scholarships
The Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC) and Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options (FES-EO) programs give families of K-12 students a choice of financial assistance toward private school tuition and fees, or helps with transportation costs for students to attend a public school different than the one the student is assigned to.
Professional Development Opportunities through BPS
BPS offers MIC3 training for secondary counselors and administrators who register students and track progress, and Penn State University Clearing House modules for all other staff.

Student Led Transition Program
Under the direction of our KIND Club, newly registered military students are introduced to members of the KIND Club to create a peer-relationship and provide an overview of what our school offers.
