Coach Solis:

I have spent 19 years in Brevard Public Schools, 10 years as Spanish Teacher, 9 years as Athletic Director, and 8 years as Head Varsity Baseball Coach, all at Space Coast Jr./ Sr. High School.  Entering 2nd year at Cocoa High Jr/Sr High School.

My coaching staff rebuilt Space Coast Jr/Sr High School’s Baseball program and took them to 3 District Championship games, 2 Runner-Ups, and 1 District Championship. Advancing to Regionals 3 years in a row.

All our accomplishments were the first in school history. I stepped away to pursue the role of Athletic Director.

I am very excited about going into my second year as the Cocoa Tigers Baseball programs Head Coach. Excited to continue getting it back to the prominence it once was. We will work on the little things, the fundamentals, as I am a believer in what John Wooden once preached.

It is the perfection of the smallest details that makes the big things possible!

Also, challenge all players and parents to commit to the Tiger Pride, and we can build this together! We are more powerful in numbers.”

Originally from Madrid, Spain. I moved to Hampton, Va, where I went to Kecoughtan High School, and played college Baseball at Ferrum College, in Ferrum, Va. Transferred to Christopher Newport University, and graduated in 2004.

I have been learning the game from the moment I stepped on the field, and will continue to learn the game, as it is forever evolving. I also continue to play in the Orlando Baseball Association.

I am very passionate about the sport and will continue to teach the youth to respect the game and to play the game the right way.

Currently, coaching 14U travel baseball for Club321Sportscast. In their first year of existence, they won several championships in the USSSA ranks, and finished their first season as the number 1 ranked team in the State, Region, and Nation in the USSSA points race as the 12U and the 13U coach.  14-U is on the same pace.

Respectfully,

Eusebio Solis
