Jaime Malta - TOY

My name is Jaime Malta, and I was born and raised (mostly) in Florida. I’m a proud product of Brevard Public Schools, having attended Holland Elementary, DeLaura Middle School, and Satellite High School. I went on to earn my bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida and my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education.

I’ve been teaching for 14 years, with experience at Dr. W.J. Creel Elementary, Surfside Elementary, Endeavour Elementary, and now DeLaura Middle School. I live in Satellite Beach, and my own children are following in my footsteps by attending Surfside, DeLaura, and Satellite. We love this town!

I love working in my own community and value the connections I make with local families. It is truly an honor to be named Teacher of the Year by my peers.
