School Year 2024 - 2025 Information

All students except VPK, will be enrolled and registered online. There are no paper packets available. This is the link to FOCUS If you need assistance, registration is on Tuesday, July 23, computers will be available to use and staff to assist you. You can also contact the office to set up a time to use a computer to register.

If your student rode a bus last year, they should have a bus pass available at registration. If you have moved or are new to Fairglen please go to 24-25 Bus Transportation Request and fill out the form. The ID card with the barcode and student name can be ordered online through the badge replacement marketplace at a cost of $7.50 plus shipping. You can also download a digital badge from the FOCUS app and save to a cell phone. Log into the parent app, click on the barcode next to the student's name, take a screenshot of the barcode and save that image to the phone. Students sign in and out when boarding and leaving the school bus. Parents/Guardians can track the bus through the ReaXium app downloaded on their phone after they request the secure invitation code sent by the office.

Kindergarten Kick-Off

Only Kindergarteners who are registered at Fairglen and their parents are invited Thursday, July 25, from 9:00-11:00. The new kindergartners will come and sample a day of kindergarten while parents receive information and resources for a successful year! Parents/Guardians must stay. The event will start promptly at 9:00. There is no additional childcare provided, please make arrangements for any siblings.

Meet the Teacher

Please stop by to meet the staff on Friday, August 9, from 1:00-3:00. Tables will be set up outside of the grade level to drop off any school supplies so students don't have a heavy load on the first day. Teachers will be there to greet you and the cafeteria will be open to meet the staff.

Important Dates

August 12 - First day of school for grades 1 - 6

August 15 - First day of Kindergarten

August 19 - First day of Pre-K

First Day Of School Drop-Off for Kindergarten & Pre-K ONLY - Parents/Guardians can check in at the Media Center, take a picture at the "photo booth" walk your student to their door, and say, "see you later" as your student walks into their class. Parents/Guardians are not permitted in the classroom. Please return to the media center to check out. Your student is in the caring hands of their teachers and staff.

Lunch By Reservation - Friday Only   Bring Id

Lunch will only be open to families by reservation only on Fridays.  Please make sure you have your ID to sign in and that you are on the contact list.  Please send an email by Wednesday before each Friday to make a reservation for your child's lunch time.
