Communication

Christa McAuliffe Elementary uses a variety of ways to communication with our families:

Email list - Email is the most widely used form of communication at our school. If you currently do not receive parent emails from the school (different from just the teacher) containing important news, upcoming events, and more, or your email address has changed, please send an email Chris Bell at Email Chris Bell. In your message be sure to include the following information: student(s) name(s), and your email address(es).

Synnervoice Phone message system - Mrs. Finsted sends messages out regarding important events, etc.. This message system is also used to send out emergency information and changes. If you do not currently receive these voice messages, please send an email Chris Bell at Email Chris Bell. In your message be sure to include the following information: student(s) name(s), and your phone number(s).

Text Messages - If you would like to receive texts to your cell phone (Message & data rates may apply), please send an email Chris Bell at Email Chris Bell. In your message be sure to include the following information: student(s) name(s), and your cell phone number(s).

Paper and pen - Paper is still an important form of communication, as some communication MUST still be done in writing; such as changing the way your child goes home. Changing the way your child goes home can not be done via phone call, text, email or communication app. It must done in writing due the the Jessica Lundsford Act. It must contain the signature of the legal parent/guardian, a date and the child's first and last name. For more information about making these changes, please visit here: Making changes to transporation

Some teachers choose to use a variety of communication apps, such as ClassDojo, Remind, etc. You will need to contact your child's teacher to find out if they use an app, and which one it is.
