This summer we are using a different platform to track our students reading…Beanstack! Students can log in minutes read each day on their launchpad…encouraged to read at least 20 minutes daily at least 4 days a week. Students will earn digital badges. They must earn 15 badges to complete the summer challenge in Beanstack.
Parents can add the Beanstack app to their phones to track minutes for their younger readers as well…super easy! I sat down with a Manatee parent over the weekend and watched how simple the process was. The login guide below shows the steps for using the app.
The county has already added the Beanstack app to student launchpads and I am discussing how to use this during my classes. It seems to be a very simple process and students are practicing logging in minutes read in the media center. Teachers, you can even log in minutes read in the classroom for all your students this week and next to help encourage this summer challenge.
