October is National Bullying Prevention Month! When it started: October was first designated as National Bullying Prevention Month in 2006. Why it's important: Bullying can have devastating effects on children and families, including: School avoidance Loss of self-esteem Increased anxiety Depression How to get involved: You can get involved by: Being accepting, kind, and inclusive Spending time with people you know less well and asking them about themselves Checking in on your friends, classmates, teachers, coaches, and yourself

Tickets will go on sale October 15th and will be $45.00. The last day to buy a $45.00 will be October 22nd. Late ticket purchases of $50.00 will be on October 23rd ONLY. No tickets will be sold at the door and tickets are not transferable. The permission slip must be turned in at the time of purchase. Cash, check (made out to MIHS), or credit card is accepted at school during both lunches. In order to purchase a ticket, all monetary obligations must be met and students should be in good standing on absences and tardies.
