Head Start Preschool Program
: BPS Head Start is a program for preschool age children who turn 3 or 4 years old on or before September 1st. Head Start provides comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to low-income children and families.
Head Start staff members partner with families to help children progress, to assist families in meeting goals, and encourage parents to be actively engaged. Our families are empowered through the acknowledgement that they are their child’s first and most important teacher. This free full day preschool program is located in 12 elementary schools.
