Parents of all Li'l Pirates, Due to the missed days of instruction for two major storms, Brevard Public Schools has revised our instructional schedule. Please note, this Friday and several upcoming Fridays will now be FULL instructional days with 2:30pm dismissal. There will be NO Early Release on these Fridays (2:30pm dismissal): Friday, November 1 Friday, November 8 Friday, November 15 Friday, November 22 Friday, December 6 In addition, two planned student holidays will now be full instructional days: Monday, February 17, 2025, will be a full school day. This was originally scheduled as a Student Holiday/Teacher Professional Development Day. Friday, April 18, 2025, will be a full school day. This date was originally scheduled as a Holiday for All.

FALL IN LOVE WITH LITERACY PALM BAY ELEMENTARY'S 1st ANNUAL LITERACY LANTERN CONTEST Choose a favorite storybook or character. Sketch out or find a picture of what you want your pumpkin to look like. Pinterest or Facebook is great for this! Gather your supplies: Craft or Real pumpkin. Have fun transforming your pumpkin into a literacy lantern! No carving please! Make sure your child's name, grade & teacher are on the pumpkin. We want to display all our pumpkins in the library. Entries due October 8th at 8 AM. Please make sure your child's name, grade & teacher are on the pumpkin. No carving, please!

PBE will be celebrating national Red Ribbon Week October 28th through November 1st! Wear RED on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 30th to show your pledge to remain drug free and live a healthy lifestyle!

Good news! Our Lunch with Li'l Pirates reservation system is now open. Each Thursday we will offer the opportunity for a parent to enjoy lunch with their child at PBE. Space is limited. Parents must pre-register before Thursday in order to attend Lunch with Li'l Pirates. Only parents listed on the child's registration are able to participate. Parents may only visit during their child's scheduled lunch time. No additional PBE students will be pulled from their class to join another class' lunch time. Adults should bring their own lunch. Parents of Li'l Pirates! Every Friday is an Early Release Day with Brevard Public Schools. Students will be released at 1:15pm. Fridays are also School Spirit Days! We hope to see a lot of Li'l PIrates wearing school t-shirts tomorrow! If you are interested, School Spirit Shirts can be purchased through our Front Office. Shirts cost $15 each, and payment can be made by cash (exact amount, please) or check. We have a red and a black school spirit shirt option. Please send payment in an envelope with your child's name, child's teacher's name, shirt color and shirt size written on the outside of the envelope.
