Reading and  Research Apps

The Media Center is excited to offer multiple online reading and research platforms!  Whether you are looking for a new ebook on the BPS Sora app, browsing for print resources on Follett Destiny, or researching through one of the Gale databases, the Media Center has something to help meet your needs. 

These apps are available to students, faculty, and staff and can be accessed through your personal Launchpad or by navigating through the links available on the Media Center's webpage.

BPS Sora is the online home of thousands of ebooks and audiobooks available to the students, faculty, and staff of Brevard Public Schools. Sora includes both fiction and nonfiction titles in both ebook and audiobook formats. You can access Sora through your personal Launchpad or by by clicking here. Iphone users can also download the Sora app from the app store.

To log in to Sora from home, you'll need to use the following log-in procedures:

Find and select "Brevard County School District." Sign in using your school computer login information.

BPS Gale offers a wide range of credible online databases. Gale's databases allow student researchers to access scholarly, peer-reviewed resources that they might otherwise not have access to. You can access BPS Gale from the app on your personal Launchpad or by by clicking here.

World Book Online helps information seekers of all ages find the content they need at the correct reading level. Resources available through World Book include informational articles, illustrations, videos, interactive maps, research help, and activities. World Book Online resources are available anytime, anywhere and can be accessed through your personal Launchpad or by clicking here.
