Southwest Middle School will host 3 summer enrichment camps this year. This is a great learning opportunity for students to learn and a chance to experience new subjects. Science Research, Middle School Success, and Band Camp are the 3 being offered.
Science Research is designed to help prepare rising 7-9th grade students taking Science Research and participating in the Regional Science Fairs at the District level. There will be hands on labs, engineering challenges, and everything you need to be successful!
Band Camp is for beginning band students with no experience June 3rd thru June 6th and intermediate camp for students with 1 year or more of band experience. Intermediate camp is June 10th thru June 3rd.
Middle School Success Academy will provide incoming middle school students with the tools needed to be successful at the middle school level. There will be fun and engaging activities, peer problem solving, stem projects and goal setting.
These three camps will allow students to be exposed to new experiences, and get a chance to meet other students with similar interests all while learning.
