I am very proud and honored to report that after school today I had the pleasure of introducing our new Principal and “Head Wildcat” to our West Shore staff. Pending School Board approval next Tuesday evening, Mr. Burt Clark will be named as the 4th Principal in West Shore history. I personally could have not hand picked a better fit for our school and I am excited about the personality, energy, and genuine enthusiasm he carries with him. Mr. Clark is currently the Principal at Rockledge High School and will finish out this year before officially taking the reigns over from me in June. He has a wealth of knowledge as a veteran school administrator and is absolutely thrilled to lead the Wildcat Nation!!! Although this will certainly not be my final farewell……yet…. I want everyone to know that serving you and building one of the best schools in the state, and arguably the nation, has certainly been a labor of love. I look forward to the continued great work of our teachers, our students, and our community and please join me in welcoming Mr. Clark to the family when you begin to see him in and around campus. Go Wildcats!!!!
