West Shore Jr/Sr High

West Shore Jr./Sr. High School prides itself on welcoming and supporting our military students and their families. Upon enrollment your School Counselor will meet with the student and their family for a general welcome meeting. In that meeting the counselor will review transcripts, discuss student interests, and develop the most appropriate class schedule. The counselor will also introduce many of the exciting offerings that West Shore has to offer, including our vast array of AP courses, athletic teams, school-sponsored clubs, power hour, and small learning communities. After the initial welcome meeting, the student will be paired up with one of our junior or senior SGA members for a campus tour. This will give the student the opportunity to see the campus, walk the class schedule, and to meet a Wildcat student leader on campus. If interested, our new military student will also be enrolled in our student-led mentoring program, where they can be paired up with an upperclassman, who shares similar interests.
