The Office of Professional Standards & Labor Relations is responsible for maintaining a professional workplace for all Brevard Schools employees.  This office seeks to provide all employees with a professional environment grounded by integrity and high ethical standards.  Our office will investigate allegations of violations of Board policy, Florida Statute, and the Principles of Professional Conduct of the Education Profession in Florida by all current employees.

Currently, the District negotiates Collective Bargaining Agreements with the Brevard Federation of Teachers and the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades - Local 1010.  It is the responsibility of this office to engage in fair negotiation practices and the accurate interpretation of contract language.

All concerns regarding professional standards and negotiated contracts should be directed to the Office of Professional Standards & Labor Relations.

Our office is co-located within the Human Resources Services division in the Educational Services Facility (ESF) located at 2700 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera, FL 32940. 

Office hours are 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday.
