Workers' Compensation for Employees & Volunteers
Brevard Public Schools strives to provide a safe and secure environment for all employees, but when work-related injuries occur, the District provides the appropriate medical care and treatment of the injured employee through its workers' compensation program. BPS is committed to treating injured employees with understanding, care and respect while providing injured workers with high quality medical care through immediate access to the best medical professionals in the community. One of our primary goals is to continually improve the process of accessing injured employees to high-quality local medical professionals.
We encourage an injured employee of BPS to speak openly with your health care team by taking part in your treatment, being well informed during the treatment process and about your care. Please see additional information under Helpful Links and Training Materials for further information about BPS workers' compensation policies and processes. In addition, you may contact the Office of Risk Management at (321) 633-1000 ext. 11620 for any questions or concerns you may have relating to workers' compensation with Brevard Public Schools.
