The School Board approved more than 120 board policy changes during its Tuesday meeting. This is part of a year-long process to review and update all board policies as needed.

Many policies approved this week hadn’t been reviewed in several years, and most only had minor changes. Staff made policy changes to align board policy with new state laws or guidance.

The school board and staff have worked numerous hours to review, edit, and present the new policies. The work is not complete yet, as district staff work to update dozens more policies before presenting them to the school board
