Julie Kastensmidt holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education. Mrs. Kastensmidt joined Brevard County Public Schools in July 2023, coming from Indian River County Schools.
Her career in education began in 2001 as an elementary school teacher. After fourteen years in the classroom, she transitioned to a district role as a Professional Development Specialist. Before joining BPS, she was the Coordinator of Strategic Support Services.
Driven by her belief that all students can succeed, Mrs. Kastensmidt is dedicated to providing a supportive and safe environment where students can realize their full potential.
