Summer Testing Opportunities

Melbourne High School is offering two summer testing opportunities.

July 22-26 for any student who falls into one of the categories below:

  • Any student who did not take their EOC test (30% of course grade) and needs to take it for: BEST Algebra EOC, Biology EOC, BEST Geometry EOC, US History EOC

  • Any 11th and 12th grade student who needs to retake the FAST ELA test to meet the reading graduation requirement (level 3 or higher)

  • Any student who needs to retake the BEST Algebra EOC test to meet the Algebra graduation requirement (level 3 or higher)

July 27th we are offering the CLT test for any student who falls into one of the categories below:

  • Any 11th and 12th grade student who needs to retake the FAST ELA test to meet the graduation requirement (level 3 or higher)

  • Any student who needs to retake the BEST Algebra EOC test to meet the graduation requirement (level 3 or higher)

  • Any student who is seeking to qualify for Bright Futures Scholarships

To Register for the CLT test complete the following steps:

  1. Create a free CLT account at www.cltexam.com ; verify your email address. DO NOT REGISTER FOR A TEST ON THE WEBSITE.

  2. Complete this form: https://forms.gle/QJGdFZ5rZPz6v2PR8

  3. Pay $30 cash or check between July 22-25 in the Melbourne High School Front Office. Students who qualify for free/reduced lunch can get this fee waived.  (There will be NO REFUNDS for this test)

 Khan Academy

  • Must access through Chrome, Firefox, or Edge

  • Full-length SAT practice test, subject area practice, tips and strategies

  • Personalized study plan based on your weaknesses when you link your college board account with your khan academy account

  • Diagnostic testing for personalized study if you don't have or don't want to link to your college board account

  • 15 minutes a day has been proven to increase SAT test scores

  • College, Careers, and more is also a great resource for the college search process and identifying the right career for you
