Satellite High School is thrilled to announce that our Chamber Choir has been accepted to perform at EPCOT’s renowned Candlelight Processional on Monday, December 9, 2024. This prestigious event, a beloved holiday tradition at Walt Disney World, features celebrity narrators who tell the story of Christmas, accompanied by a choir and a 50-piece orchestra.

We are proud to share that Broadway star Tituss Burgess will serve as the narrator during our choir’s performance. Known for his incredible high tenor voice and impressive stage presence, Tituss has starred in several Broadway musicals and is perhaps best recognized for his role as Titus Andromedon on the Netflix comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, for which he earned five Primetime Emmy Award nominations.

The Candlelight Processional is held at EPCOT’s outdoor amphitheater and offers three shows each evening: 5 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 8:15 p.m. Admission to the performance is included with the cost of admission to EPCOT, but keep in mind that seating is limited, and lines often begin to form hours before the show.

We share this news in the hopes that it encourages any Satellite families with the means to do so to come out and support our talented Chamber Choir as they represent our school in this magical holiday experience.
