As the principal of R.L. Stevenson Elementary School of the Arts, Mrs. Fleeger is dedicated to fostering a love for the arts and providing a quality education for all of our students. With over 25+ years of experience in education, she is deeply committed to enriching the lives of both our students and teachers.

I am dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in education, particularly in the realm of arts education. I actively seek out professional development opportunities to enhance my own knowledge and skills, which ultimately benefits our school community."

Mrs. Fleeger's goal as principal is to create an inclusive and supportive environment where every student feels valued and inspired to pursue their artistic passions. She works closely with our dedicated teachers to provide them with the resources and support they need to deliver high-quality arts education to our students. Together, we strive to create opportunities for our students to explore their creativity, develop their talents, and reach their full potential.

Patrick Harrigan

Assistant Principal

Mr. Harrigan is the newly appointed assistant principal of R.L. Stevenson Elementary School of the Arts. With a decade of teaching experience under his belt, Mr. Harrigan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. Holding two masters' degrees in education and administration, he is well-equipped to support the faculty, staff, and students in achieving academic excellence.

What sets Mr. Harrigan apart is his deep passion for music. He believes in the transformative power of the arts and is dedicated to fostering a creative and nurturing environment where students can explore their artistic talents. With his extensive background in music education, Mr. Harrigan is excited to inspire and guide the young artists at R.L. Stevenson Elementary School of the Arts on their journey towards success.  

Angela Tuttle

Angela Tuttle

Guidance Counselor

Mrs. Tuttle is a passionate educator with a rich background in teaching and school counseling. As a former elementary school teacher and gifted teacher, she brings a unique perspective to the world of elementary education, making her well-versed at nurturing young minds. Her commitment to professional growth is unwavering as she works towards obtaining licensure as a mental health counselor, further enhancing her ability to support our students. 

As an elementary school counselor, Mrs. Tuttle wears many hats. Her primary focus is on helping students develop essential life skills, including resiliency skills, which are instrumental in achieving both social and academic success. Mrs. Tuttle also guides students through the exciting journey of career exploration, fostering college and career readiness to ensure our students are well-prepared for their future. In addition to student support, she assists families who may require specific educational services, such as 504 plans and Exceptional Student Education (ESE) support. Mrs. Tuttle is here to ensure that every child's individual needs are met, creating an inclusive and enriching educational environment.

Instructional Coach

Mrs. Barrons has dedicated an impressive 18 years to the field of education, specializing in reading. With a master's degree in this area, she has honed her expertise and developed a deep understanding of effective teaching practices. Mrs. Barrons is not only endorsed in gifted education, but also in coaching, showcasing her commitment to ongoing professional development. Her passion lies in supporting young readers and instilling in them a love for literacy. Mrs. Barrons' dedication does not stop at the classroom level; she aims to promote literacy schoolwide, creating a culture of reading and fostering a lifelong love for learning in her students.
