Titusville High School is located on the east coast of Central Florida, directly across from the Indian River and Kennedy Space Center and south-southwest of Canaveral National Seashore. Nicknamed, “Space City, USA”, Titusville is home to over 40,000 people. The first public school in the city of Titusville was built on Main Street in 1888. Horse-drawn school buses transported students from Indian River City and Mims. In 1927, Titusville High School was founded at the current location, the first building devoted solely to high school classes in the city. Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), Titusville High serves around 1,200 students.
