Student-Led Transition Program

  • The Naval JROTC program at Titusville High School has created a student-led transition program to assist students from military families navigate the challenges of transferring schools. New students will meet our Student Transition Coordinator to receive a student-led tour of the school, highlighting key locations, such as classrooms, the cafeteria, athletic facilities, and administrative offices, ensuring that students feel comfortable navigating their new environment. Within two weeks of starting at Titusville High School, new students are paired with a current Titusville High School student leader who either comes from a military family or has experience with transitioning between schools. The student leader serves as a guide and mentor, helping new students adjust to life at Titusville High School. This program's goal is to offer emotional and social support, providing our new students with someone they can turn to for advice or to help navigate the challenges of settling into a new school.

  • BPS is committed to ensuring a peer-led, safe, and positive transition for students from military families into our schools. For support, please contact the Military Point of Contact listed at the top of this webpage.
