The Heritage High School Band Program is composed of over 200 students across 5 concert ensembles (Wind Symphony, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and Beginning Band), 4 jazz bands, a percussion ensemble, our auxiliary team - The Crown Jewels, & the Marching Panther Band - The Blue Sea of Sound.

The Heritage High Band Program actively performs in and around the community, as well as across the state of Florida. Past performances by the band include the Florida Blue Classic, FAMU Homecoming, BCU Homecoming, Rattler Strike Band Festival, WSSU Band Splash, The FAMU Wind Band Festival, Soundcheck Battle of the Bands, and Orlando Music For All.

All students must be enrolled in a band class to participate. Those students who are in the program are required to participate in both concert and marching band, and may take jazz while concurrently enrolled in a concert class. All of these classes count as a performing art credit.
