Dear Parents of Kennedy Middle School,

I am thrilled to introduce myself as your new principal. It is with great honor and enthusiasm that I join the incredible team of educators at Kennedy. I am dedicated to fostering an environment of academic excellence, growth, and community engagement.

First and foremost, I want to express my sincere gratitude for entrusting us with the education and development of your child(ren). Your commitment to their success is invaluable, and I assure you that it will be reciprocated with dedication and passion from myself and the entire faculty.

I am deeply committed to ensuring that every student reaches their fullest potential academically, socially, and emotionally. I am genuinely excited to get to know you, my students, and our community over the next month as we prepare for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.

Kennedy Middle School is dedicated to open communication, transparency, and collaboration. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or feedback you may have. Your input is invaluable in shaping the future of our school community.

On a personal note, I have proudly served Brevard County Public Schools for eighteen years, with the last eight years in administration at both elementary and secondary levels. My family is deeply rooted in the Brevard County Public School system; my husband is a high school teacher and head football coach, my oldest son is a graduate from Viera High School, and my youngest son will be starting second grade in August.

I want to express my sincere gratitude for the warm welcome I have received thus far. I am eager to embark on this journey together with your child(ren), and I look forward to celebrating many achievements and milestones in the years to come.

Warmest regards,

Angela Owens
