Daniel Kilbury is the #HeartofBrevard!
The Heart of Brevard is a person who puts their heart and soul into teaching, inspiring, and supporting our students in whatever role they play in BPS.

"Mr. Kilbury is one of the most skilled, inspiring, and FUN teachers in Florida. Every student that steps foot in his classroom is not only pushed to be a better version of themselves ever day, but they are also made to feel important and are given an environment in which they can laugh and enjoy music making (at an extremely high level). Mr. Kilbury is a high support and high expectation educator. His students are consistently high achieving musicians and this transfers to their other studies and activities as well. Through music, Mr. Kilbury teaches time management, work ethic, good citizenship, collaboration, and too many more skills to name. He is an example of everything that is right with public education and why it is so important."
It was an exciting day for the Melbourne High School Media Center today! Our new collaborative seating was installed. This furniture was chosen by our students and will provide additional seating for up to 40 students each day.
Congratulations to Ms. Thor who is not only the Melbourne High School Rookie Teacher of the year but the Brevard Public Schools Rookie Teacher of the Year! 🎉
Your Lady Bulldogs improved to 29-0 after tonight's 2-0 win against George Jenkins and will travel to Bartow this Friday for the Regional Finals! Go Dawgs!

Congratulations to our Melbourne High School yearbook staff! Our 2022-2023 yearbook received the Gold Award from the Florida Scholastic Press Association. This is a very distinguished award and we are so proud!

Congratulations Mel Hi Crew for a successful weekend of racing at FSRA Sweep State Championships in Sarasota this past weekend. All rowers advanced through heats to finals with the Men's Varsity Lightweight 8+ and Men's 2nd Varsity 4+ capturing state titles in their events.
