Congratulations to three of our eSports team members who made it to the Brawlhalla East Playoffs for Generation eSports! They qualified as part of the top 32 players in the Spring season for the entire East Coast.

Exciting news! Join us for our Stone Gala community event! We are having a flash sale of our tickets. Now until 4/15/25 all tickets are $35. Come by & grab your tickets from the front office! The event takes place on May 17 from 5-8pm in the newly dedicated Ruby Mae Jackson Gym.


Congratulations to the students in participated in the Orchestra Solo and Ensemble performance this past weekend! Stone had 5 students participate! They play these solos individually, in front of a judge and receive a score for their performance.


Want to attend home volleyball games and show your support for the team? Students can now participate in the new Gopher Squad which is our new pep support team for all home games. Starts April 17. Students enter the Stone library at 4:30. At 5:30 they head to the gym. Cost is $3 but includes cost to enter the game. See Coach Hill with questions. Students must be picked no later than 7:30pm or they will not be allowed to attend the next home game. Students who misbehave will not be allowed to stay.


Once again, our Stone Volleyball Team had a great performance against Southwest last Thursday! Please consider joining us at our gym at 6pm to support our volleyball players as they take on Hoover for our FIRST HOME volleyball game!. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for under 18.

National Library Week - April 6-12, 2025. From the American Library Association (ALA): National Library Week is an annual celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries, librarians, and library workers play in strengthening our communities and transforming lives. Encourage your student to visit the Stone library and make a date with them to visit our local library on the corner of Lipscomb and University!

For 7th grade, Jedidiah Farley was chosen for both his in class inspirational presence and his extracurricular leadership!
For 8th grade, Arianna Martinez was chosen for her kindness and community involvement!

Don't forget, Stone's last SKATE NIGHT of the year is TONIGHT, April 3 from 6-8pm. It is a neon glow event to say farewell to our 8th graders and hello to our 6th graders. If you wear neon, you get an extra door prize ticket. Cost is $8 and includes skate rental.
