Stone will be having its Sources of Strength Colors Week January 21-24. Sources of Strength is a mental health wellness program that utilizes the power of peer social networks to change unhealthy norms and culture to ultimately prevent suicide, bullying, violence, and substance abuse. Stone will be celebrating Literacy Week this year beginning Monday, January 27-Friday, January 31! Throughout the week we will have themed dress-up days and lunchtime activities for students. Students can also submit their original poetry/rap to be voted on during the week for the Poetry Contest. See flyer for details of the week!
Stone art students will be participating in the South Area Mall Art Show. The show will take place Sunday, 1/12 - Saturday, 1/25 at the Melbourne Square Mall, on display just outside of Dick's Sporting Goods. Please stop by and admire the hard work of our students!

Every month, Stone teachers and staff select an outstanding seventh and eighth grade student to be recognized. The Students of the Month for December are 7th grader, Hayden Saunders and 8th grader, Layla Lee. The next Skate Night will be Thursday, January 23 from 6-8pm. Skate Night will be at the Galaxy Skate Way on Aurora Road. The cost is $8 and includes skate rental.
The Harry T. Moore Cultural Park & Museum, where we will be hosting a Martin Luther King Jr. movie screening every Friday throughout the month of January. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. King while enjoying a series of impactful films.
