Stone celebrated students who received either all A's or A's and B's on their report card on Friday! Principal's Honor Roll (A's) received certificates, make your own ice cream bar, and a free period in the media center with VR Goggles, Xbox's, board games and more! A/B honor roll students received a certificate and ice cream bars! If you didn't make it this time, keep trying for the second nine weeks!

During our Fast Track to Success Saturday, our dean, Ms. Borck worked with students on a fun science project! They talked about density, the manufacturing process of soap, and the whipping process. They looked at the changing properties of the soap with the air bubbles and water vapor. When heated the soap expands, creating a physical change that causes the soap to become more pliable. Come to our next Fast Track to Success activity on Saturday, October 25 from 8:30-11:30 in the media center!

Stone couldn't be prouder of our incredible boys' and girls' basketball teams. The dedication and teamwork our young athletes have displayed this season is truly inspiring.

When you see the girls' basketball team, please shower them with congratulations for an outstanding season. They played a fierce game against the Viera Owls in the semifinals last night. Although they didn't make it to the championship game this year, we are enormously proud of their winning season. Coach Rae and the girls poured their hearts into each game and showed remarkable improvement throughout the season. Let's give them the love and recognition they deserve!

Now, mark your calendars and get ready for an epic showdown! The boys are heading to the Championship tomorrow, Thursday, October 16 at 7:00 PM at Central. WE NEED TO PACK THE HOUSE! Join us for the thrilling championship game this Thursday and bring your loudest cheers. Be sure to send your best wishes to Coach Chris and our boys as they gear up for their big moment.

Get there early because the stands will be fill up and you may not get in later!!!

Stone's Halloween Dance will be on Friday, October 24 from 3:15-5:30pm in the cafeteria. Tickets will be sold on Wednesday, 10/22 and Thursday, 10/23 in the cafeteria and at the door on Friday. Cost is $10. You must have a permission slip to purchase a ticket. Cost includes free food and drinks all night.
