Good afternoon Stevenson Families,
We come to the end of another busy week here at RLS, and students have been working on learning new concepts and practicing challenging skills.
Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade students took their first FAST Star assessments, which will provide teachers and parents with valuable baseline data.
Our Read-a-Thon fundraiser ended today, and we will soon announce the class and individuals who raised the most funds and read the most minutes.
Today students from every grade level who earned 15 or more badges during the Summer Reading Challenge were given a certificate and ice cream!
Students in Grades 1-6 continue to engage in literacy focused discovery learning through enrichment clusters. Many clusters have begun to identify ideas they would like to pursue and develop student originated products to have a positive impact in the community.
We look forward to another exciting and full week of learning next week, and hope that all of our Stevenson Penguins have a fun and relaxing weekend.
