Principal Message

Stevenson Families,

As we wrap up another wonderful week, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the amazing volunteers who have helped with cookie dough distribution, the holiday shop, and the Jingle Bell Jog. Your support is invaluable, and we couldn't hold these fun activities for our students without your help. We truly appreciate everything you do!

Looking ahead, we have some exciting events next week:

  • Science Fair: Fourth through sixth grade students will showcase their projects on Monday and Tuesday. I can't wait to hear our students engage in scientific discourse about their topic.

  • Early Release Days: Starting Wednesday, students will be dismissed at 2:15 PM. Any student not picked up by 3:00 PM will be taken to aftercare, as we have several staff events occurring after dismissal.

  • Schoolwide Arts Day: Join us on Thursday for an amazing art project coordinated by Mrs. Sonberg.

  • Enrichment Showcase: On Friday, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, we will have our Enrichment Showcase. Families need to RSVP so we can prepare visitor badges in advance. The Enrichment Clusters have provided our students with an opportunity to discover and pursue interests, apply rigorous learning methods, and create a final product to share with you.

Additionally, please remind your children to return their library books and check out new ones for winter break. Mrs. Monroe has sent out information regarding the winter reading challenge, and we encourage all students to participate. It's a great way to keep their minds engaged over the break.

That's it for this week! We look forward to seeing you at our events next week. See you Monday in the car loop!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Fleeger
