Our construction classes have been hard at work building a new shed on campus! These amazing students are working hard to give the track team a place to store their equipment.
VHS JROTC Raider teams had an amazing day at Districts! Our girls' team took 2nd in the district and our boys' team are DISTRICT CHAMPS!!!!!!!

Viera High Cross Country had an amazing showing at the CCC! The boys took 1st place overall and the girls took 3rd. Way to go Hawks!!

We wanted to remind everyone that physicals must be completed and submitted to Athletic Clearance no later than two weeks prior to the start of the season (winter Oct 14 and spring Jan 6). This ensures that all athletes are cleared in time for tryouts, any time after these dates there is no guarantee of student athletes being cleared in time. The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) president Kate Howick along with other women in construction visited as guest speakers for all my female students in my classes. It was an amazing visit letting the girls know the opportunities that are out there in construction for them. - Mr. Owens
The academy seniors completed a life skills workshop. They discussed and spoke to community leaders on safety and crime, food and nutrition, finances, and auto care. Students learned something new that will help them in their college futures. - Mrs. Armstrong
