Our construction class completed their first major build! It took a lot of hard work and perseverance to cut through all the red tape for permitting, but they got the job done! Now our track team has a place to store all their equipment. Thank you to Mr. Owens and the construction students at VHS!!!!!!

Our students had amazing success at the Science Fair! Luke Rodgers and Sophie Schuh took 1st place prizes with bids to the state science fair in March and Aswath Rajesh took a 1st place prize with a bid to the state science fair as well as the international science fair in May!

Our students participated in the Future Educators of America Conference this weekend in Orlando!

Our annual JROTC Ball had a record breaking turnout Saturday night! The cadets enjoyed an evening of inspiration, dining and dancing. They all looked their best and represented VHS well.
Our construction students built a Lending Library for Williams Elementary and were able to deliver it this week. They had so much fun with this project!
Our math team had an amazing showing at the district competition this week! Our pre-calc team placed 2nd in both the written and bowl competitions for the district! Way to go Hawks!!
Our construction classes had the opportunity to attend a fun field trip this week where they go to operate some heavy machinery.

We wanted to remind everyone that physicals must be completed and submitted to Athletic Clearance no later than two weeks prior to the start of the season (winter Oct 14 and spring Jan 6). This ensures that all athletes are cleared in time for tryouts, any time after these dates there is no guarantee of student athletes being cleared in time.
