Resources and Educational Opportunities for Military Children
At Viera Elementary, our students have the opportunity to join clubs and programs to enhance their learning abilities! We have different STEM clubs, CTE clubs, music programs, art programs, cheerleading, and many other activities for students to participate in.

Student Led Transition Program
Viera Elementary is committed to ensuring a peer-led, safe, and positive transition for students from military families into our school. Students are given a peer buddy that is their go to person. This student will show them around and introduce them to peers. For support, please contact the Military Point of Contact listed at the top of this webpage.

Past Military Recognition Events
September 24, 2024 - POW/MIA Recognition Day - Viera Elementary honored our POW/MIAs in a flag raising ceremony with our military families. Viera High School ROTC conducted the ceremony which concluded with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Upcoming Military Recognition Events
November - Our school will participate in Take a Veteran to School Day, this popular HISTORY® initiative, encourages schools to connect veterans with younger people to hear their stories of service and learn more about Veterans Day. We also will have a mock boot camp and military vehicles parade.
