During culinary class Grayson Goff and Azlyn Malatino are boxing up the cupcakes to be sent out to the children's hunger program

Culinary Supports Children's Hunger Project by Chloe Strong

The Children's Hunger Project's purpose is helping kids in need. The culinary program made a total of 280 carrot cake cookies. The cupcakes are made with a heartfelt meaning behind it. This serves as a source of comfort and a reminder that even a small act of kindness can go a long way. Junior Shelby Jones said, “My job for cupcake making was mostly frosting all of the cupcakes properly. Along with that, I also helped box them all up to seal them safely. It was a good experience to learn the other parts of the culinary world that are just cooking or baking."

Sophmore Grayson Goff prepared them to be sent out rather then baking them. “My favorite part about it overall was knowing i was helping out a good cause in the end even if it was something simple as making boxes," said Goff. Just a basic step, such as packing the cupcakes, goes a long way. These culinary students were given the opportunity to brighten up kids in needs day with something special that they will never forget.
